Orchid Technical Services is owned and operated by William E. (Bill) Weems, who has 32 years of experience in corporate information systems and has been working with personal computers for 24 years. Bill is retired from a major Boston Financial Services firm, where he was most recently responsible for development of personal computer software for investing. Bill is a resident of the Town of Orchid in Indian River County. During the summer months, Bill operates ACK Technical Services based in Nantucket, Massachusetts, a company with goals similar to Orchid Technical Services.
Bill has received the A+ Certification from CompTIA. To receive this, he passed two comprehensive examinations, the first covering hardware, software, security, and networking fundamentals, and the second covering the practical application of the concepts, including providing quality service to customers.

For home customers, we specialize in on-site technical support including new computer and peripheral setup, Internet and wireless network setup, and help or basic and advanced training for topics such as email, use of the World Wide Web, Microsoft Office applications, home finance applications such as Quicken, digital cameras and scanners including managing your pictures, and using iPods or other music players. We also are experts at solving problems such as slow PC startup or poor performance and removal of and then avoiding viruses and spyware.
